Pickle4America Coming to Coors Field

7

This is yuge!! Imagine playing pickleball in the middle of a baseball stadium. Who wouldn’t daydream about that? In fact, in a recent survey of the top ten fantasies not related to sex or money, the 9587th highest-rated response was “to play pickleball with my friends at an MLB stadium.”

Well, your dream is about to come true thanks to the amazing group Pickle4America. You may have heard of this group as the new host and sponsor of the US Open. In their own words Pickle4 is:

Founded in 2022, Pickleball4America is dedicated to cultivating an ecosystem around America’s fastest-growing sport. Our focus encompasses events, digital content, commerce, and community-building initiatives. In 2023, we secured funding, merged with the prestigious US Open Pickleball Championships®, and launched the Ballpark Series. By bringing more playing opportunities to amateurs and professionals alike in iconic venues across the U.S., we are truly igniting a movement.

Pickle4America

Most of the team here at Pickleballogists is located in Denver CO so we were absolutely thrilled when we heard that Coors Field would be one of the three ballparks hosting the Ballpark Series. What is the ballpark series and why are we even talking about baseball stadiums in conjunction with our beloved sport?

The closest I’ll ever get to playing shortstop for the Rockies.

Hold on to your paddles, pickleballers! The “Biggest Pickleball Party in the World”® might just be hitting a home run in a baseball stadium near you! Our friends at Pickleball4America are stepping up to the plate and adding a whole new level of fun to the US Open Pickleball Championships with the introduction of the Ballpark Series™.

Imagine serving up aces in the shadow of the Green Monster at Fenway Park (Boston – 7/13 to 7/16), lobbing winners with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge at Oracle Park (San Francisco – 7/20 to 7/23), or smashing volleys under the Rocky Mountain sky at Coors Field (Denver – 8/3 to 8/6). It’s like hitting a grand slam in the bottom of the ninth!

But wait, there’s more! This isn’t just for the pros. Pickleball4America is inviting amateur players of all skill levels to join the party. You can reserve court time for you and your pickleball pals, or if you’re feeling competitive, you can even sign up for the inaugural Ballpark Series medal competition.\
