K-Swiss has been making court shoes since long before anyone was arguing about whether a serve was illegal on Facebook.
So it shouldn’t be surprising that they’re all over professional pickleball.
What is interesting is how different the K-Swiss shoes pros wear actually are.
TL;DR: Use this flowchart to quickly figure out which K-Swiss shoe is right for your pickleball game.

Matt Manasse has his own K-Frame signature shoe. Camden Chaffin is bouncing around in the considerably beefier Ultrashot 4. Rachel Rohrabacher has gone the opposite direction with the lightweight Ultrashot Light. Lina Padegimaite has competed in the comparatively simple Court Express.
Matt is wearing the sleek and retro K-Frames. I love this color, but I haven’t been able to find it on sale. Drop me a line if you see it anywhere 🙏🏿
That’s a pretty wide range.
And I think it’s useful for us mortals because professional players don’t all need the same thing from a shoe. A singles player sprinting from corner to corner has different demands than a doubles specialist living at the kitchen.
I’ve gone through current tournament photos, player interviews and K-Swiss product information to see which K-Swiss shoes the pros are actually using, how long they’ve worn them and why the shoe fits their game.
If you’re looking for K-Swiss shoes for your feet rather than copying a professional, we also have a full hands-on guide to the lineup:

Now let’s get into the fun stuff.
Matt Manasse — K-Swiss K-Frame LTD McNasty
What shoes does Matt Manasse wear?
Matt Manasse wears the K-Swiss K-Frame LTD McNasty, a signature pickleball shoe developed with K-Swiss.
This is the least mysterious entry on the list.

K-Swiss doesn’t just sponsor Manasse. They gave the man nicknamed Pickleball McNasty his own shoe.
And somehow “McNasty” actually looks pretty good printed on a pickleball shoe.
K-Swiss lists Manasse as a pickleball ambassador, while retailers describe the K-Frame LTD McNasty as a collaboration specifically designed around competitive pickleball movement. K-Swiss US

What makes the K-Frame McNasty different?
The defining feature is right there in the name: K-Frame.
A molded TPU support structure wraps the rear of the foot to add stability when you’re cutting laterally. K-Swiss combines that with Durawrap protection, Surgelite cushioning and DragGuard reinforcement around the high-wear portions of the shoe. The current McNasty LTD weighs about 12.8 ounces in a men’s size 9, while another McNasty version tested at 14.1 ounces in a 10.5.
So this isn’t a minimalist shoe.
It’s built to give you something solid to push against.
Why does the K-Frame work for Matt Manasse’s game?
Matt came to pickleball through high-level tennis and coaching. He moves aggressively around the court, takes a ton of little positioning steps and spends his life either playing, drilling or demonstrating shots.
For that type of movement, I like a shoe that feels planted.
You’re rarely running straight ahead in pickleball. You’re planting a foot, changing direction, lunging into a dink and trying to recover before the other guy blasts the ball at your chest.
The K-Frame is built specifically around those lateral loads.
It makes sense that Matt gravitates toward stability rather than simply chasing the lightest shoe possible.
How long has Matt Manasse worn K-Swiss?
Manasse has been officially partnered with K-Swiss since 2023.
That makes his relationship with the brand one of the longest and most visible K-Swiss partnerships in pickleball.
Camden Chaffin — K-Swiss Ultrashot 4
What shoes does Camden Chaffin wear?
Camden Chaffin wears the K-Swiss Ultrashot 4.
At the 2025 Virginia Beach Cup, Camden wore a fantastic red-and-black pair that matched his outfit almost suspiciously well. The tournament coverage identifies them as K-Swiss, and its shoe link points to the men’s Ultrashot 4 in Black/Neon Lava/Chili Pepper.

What makes the Ultrashot 4 special?
This is considerably more shoe than Rachel Rohrabacher’s Ultrashot Light.
K-Swiss built the Ultrashot 4 around aggressive performance. The shoe uses a carbon/graphite winglet to stabilize lateral movements and return energy, Shock Frame heel cushioning, reinforced DuraMesh and an Aosta 7.0 outsole. It also comes with a 180-day outsole warranty.
The tradeoff?
Weight.
Midwest Racquet Sports lists an average of about 16 ounces in a men’s 10.5.
That’s not light.
But Camden doesn’t seem particularly bothered.
Why does the Ultrashot 4 work for Camden Chaffin?
Camden is one of the most interesting young players in pro pickleball because he didn’t come from tennis.
He played baseball, basketball and football, and he credits playing shortstop with developing his hand-eye coordination. His favorite shot is his two-handed backhand roll, which he started using as a kid because two hands gave him extra control and power.
That twoey requires a strong base.
He has to load, rotate and then recover quickly enough to cover the next ball. His singles game puts even more stress on his shoes because he’s constantly accelerating, decelerating and changing direction.
The Ultrashot 4’s stiff lateral structure makes sense here.
Camden isn’t looking for a soft running-shoe feel. He needs a platform he can push off.
And apparently it works: by 2026 he had already become the youngest signed male PPA pro and had knocked off Federico Staksrud in singles.
How long has Camden Chaffin worn K-Swiss?
I can trace Camden in K-Swiss through at least 2025 and 2026.
In August 2026, he was also part of K-Swiss’s 60th-anniversary activation in New York, where fans could play with him for a chance to win K-Swiss shoes.
That’s a pretty strong relationship.
Rachel Rohrabacher — K-Swiss Ultrashot Light
What shoes does Rachel Rohrabacher wear?
Rachel Rohrabacher has worn the K-Swiss Ultrashot Light during the 2026 PPA season.
At the Sacramento Open, she wore the White/Purple Haze/Neon Lavender Ultrashot Light.
And these aren’t just “some purple K-Swiss.” The tournament article links Rachel’s actual shoes directly to that Ultrashot Light colorway.
See Rachel wearing the purple Ultrashot Light at the 2026 Sacramento Open

Why does Rachel Rohrabacher wear a lighter K-Swiss shoe?
Rachel is listed at just 5’4″, yet she is one of the best doubles players on the PPA Tour. She’s currently ranked among the elite in both women’s and mixed doubles.
Her game is built around quick reactions, anticipation, rolled dinks, and explosive offense around the kitchen.
That’s where the Ultrashot Light makes sense.
The shoe uses K-Swiss’s 180 P.S.C. support structure to give the midsole some lateral stability, but trims weight with a lighter upper and Surgelite cushioning.
I like that combination for Rachel much more than sticking her in an enormous 16-ounce stability shoe.
She’s not trying to bully the court with body mass.
She’s trying to beat you to the next ball.
How long has Rachel Rohrabacher worn K-Swiss?
Rachel has been seen in K-Swiss going back to at least 2024, including Atlanta. She wore other shoes during part of 2025, but was clearly back in K-Swiss during the 2026 season.
So there’s been some switching.
That’s pretty normal with pro footwear.
Lina Padegimaite — K-Swiss Court Express
What shoes does Lina Padegimaite wear?
Lina Padegimaite has worn the K-Swiss Court Express on the PPA Tour.
Her light-blue pair at the 2026 Sacramento Open is the White/Open Air/Strawberry Ice Court Express.
And frankly, they looked fantastic with the blue skirt and pink socks.
See Lina wearing the blue Court Express at Sacramento
Shop the K-Swiss Court Express on Amazon
Why is Lina Padegimaite’s shoe choice surprising?
Because the Court Express isn’t some $180 technological spaceship.
K-Swiss itself describes the Court Express as a comfortable support-oriented model built on the Express platform. It uses a leather upper, CMEVA midsole, rubber outsole and polyurethane foam sock liner.
Nothing especially exotic.
Meanwhile, Lina is a 6-foot former Division I tennis player who played at the University of Texas, won Big XII honors, represented Lithuania in Fed Cup competition and later earned a doctorate in physical therapy before becoming a pickleball pro.
So yes, the physical therapist/pro athlete is out there competing in one of the simpler shoes in the K-Swiss catalog.
I find that reassuring.
K-Swiss Court Express 2 Best Value
Why does the Court Express work for Lina Padegimaite?
Lina has plenty of reach at 6 feet tall and a long tennis background. Her movement doesn’t depend on wearing the absolute lightest thing K-Swiss produces.
The Court Express gives her a conventional, stable base without a ton of gimmicks.
And footwear is personal.
The fact that a professional can play PPA-level pickleball in a relatively inexpensive Court Express should be a reminder that fit matters more than price.
Jace Morris — K-Swiss
What shoes does Jace Morris wear?
Jace Morris wears K-Swiss court shoes, although his exact K-Swiss model isn’t clear enough for me to call confidently.
At the March 2026 Greater Zion Cup, Jace wore white-and-blue K-Swiss shoes with a matching blue-and-white outfit. Tournament coverage explicitly identifies the shoes as K-Swiss.

See Jace Morris wearing K-Swiss at the Greater Zion Cup
He’s 18, turned pro in 2025 and is already playing PPA singles, doubles and mixed.
Whatever the exact model is, he’s choosing a dedicated court shoe with the lateral structure needed for singles movement rather than playing in a generic trainer.
If I can pin down the exact model from a cleaner photo or direct player post, this is the one I’d update.
Travis Rettenmaier — K-Swiss Hypercourt Supreme 2
What shoes does Travis Rettenmaier wear?
Travis Rettenmaier has worn the K-Swiss Hypercourt Supreme 2.
And unlike most of this article, we don’t need to identify it from a photograph.
Travis told The Dink directly.
His assessment was about as enthusiastic as you can get:
“The Hypercourt Supreme 2 is the best overall shoe I have ever worn.”
He specifically praised its comfort, durability and stability.
Read Travis Rettenmaier’s full discussion of his K-Swiss shoes

Why does Travis Rettenmaier like the Hypercourt Supreme 2?
Travis is an old-school racquet-sports athlete.
He played professional tennis for a decade and reached No. 57 in the world in ATP doubles. In pickleball, he specifically points to his fast hands, backhand flick and anticipation as skills carried over from tennis.
He also moves hard enough to murder shoes.
That’s not hyperbole.
Travis told The Dink that some predominantly mesh shoes could last him only a few days, while a durable K-Swiss Hypercourt could last him a few months.
How long do K-Swiss shoes last for a pro pickleball player?
For Travis Rettenmaier, a few months in a solid Hypercourt versus potentially just days in a fragile mesh shoe. A few months for a pro, who plays hours and hours a day and puts an ungodly amount of force throught their shoes, translates to years of play for us mere mortals.
Obviously, your experience will probably be considerably better unless you’re spending your Tuesday afternoon moving like a former top-60 ATP doubles player.
The Hypercourt Supreme 2’s Durawrap X reinforcement and DragGuard 7.0 outsole are specifically designed to survive that kind of abuse.
What K-Swiss shoe did Connor Garnett wear?
Connor Garnett previously wore the K-Swiss Ultrashot 3 HB.
Connor is worth mentioning because his shoe choice might be the most obvious player/shoe pairing imaginable.
We’ve covered his game before on Pickleballogist, particularly his savage two-handed backhand:
Read our Connor Garnett Twoey feature
The Ultrashot 3 was a stiff, stability-heavy court shoe built for aggressive lateral movement.
Connor?
He sprints.
He slides.
He loads absurdly hard into his legs.
He plays singles like the baseline insulted his family.
Of course he wore an Ultrashot.
Shop K-Swiss Ultrashot shoes on Amazon
I would classify Connor as a former K-Swiss wearer, however, rather than put him in the current group.
Which K-Swiss shoe is most popular with pro pickleball players?
There isn’t a single dominant model.
And that’s actually what I like about this list.
Matt Manasse wants the stability of the K-Frame.
Camden Chaffin plays in the beefy, performance-focused Ultrashot 4.
Rachel Rohrabacher goes much lighter with the Ultrashot Light.
Lina Padegimaite has competed in the comparatively basic Court Express.
Travis Rettenmaier loves the Hypercourt Supreme 2 because he needs durability without giving up court performance.
Those aren’t tiny variations of the same shoe.
They’re fundamentally different approaches.
Do professional pickleball players wear tennis shoes?
Yes. Professional pickleball players frequently wear tennis court shoes, including models such as the K-Swiss Ultrashot 4 and Hypercourt Supreme 2.
And this makes perfect sense.
Tennis and pickleball both hammer shoes with:
lateral movement, abrupt stops, split steps, toe drags and repeated acceleration.
A good tennis court shoe already solves most of the footwear problems pickleball creates.
Your shoes don’t know whether the ball has holes in it.
What K-Swiss shoe is best for aggressive pickleball players?
For a hard mover, I’d start with the Ultrashot 4, K-Frame or Hypercourt Supreme 2.
The Ultrashot 4 is the most serious performance shoe of the bunch, with its graphite winglet, Shock Frame and substantial lateral support. K-Swiss US
The K-Frame is particularly interesting if stability during hard lateral cuts is your priority. Holabird Sports
The Hypercourt Supreme 2 is the middle ground I’d look at if you want strong durability and support without going all the way to the Ultrashot’s heavyweight construction. K-Swiss US
What K-Swiss shoe is best for fast pickleball players?
If you dislike heavy court shoes, Rachel Rohrabacher’s Ultrashot Light is the most interesting pro example here.
You still get a lateral support structure through the 180 P.S.C. system, but K-Swiss removes some of the bulk found in the full Ultrashot line. K-Swiss US
For quick doubles players who spend most of their time making short explosive movements around the kitchen, that makes a lot of sense.
Should you buy the same K-Swiss shoes as a pro?
Use the pros as a starting point, not a prescription.
If your movement resembles Camden Chaffin’s—hard cuts, singles coverage and aggressive two-handed shots—the Ultrashot 4 makes sense.
If you’re lighter and live on quick kitchen movement, Rachel’s Ultrashot Light is more appealing.
If you destroy shoes, listen to Travis.
And if you’re mostly playing a few times a week and just want a comfortable, legitimate court shoe?
Lina Padegimaite is a professional pickleball player competing in the Court Express.
You probably don’t need to mortgage the house for footwear.
For our own breakdown of K-Swiss sizing, comfort, stability and the models that make the most sense for recreational players:

The bottom line
The coolest part of looking at K-Swiss’s pro players isn’t finding one secret shoe all the pros know about.
There isn’t one.
It’s seeing how wildly different the choices are.
A 15-year-old singles threat is using the burly Ultrashot 4.
One of the best women’s doubles players in the world is using the Ultrashot Light.
A six-foot former D1 tennis player with a doctorate in physical therapy is competing in the humble Court Express.
And Matt Manasse somehow convinced K-Swiss to put the word McNasty on a legitimate performance shoe.
Different feet. Different games. Different shoes.
That’s probably the useful lesson here.
Pick the shoe that matches how you move—not just the shoe worn by the player you wish you moved like.
