TL;DR: Cheap and portable. Not regulation, but it’ll get the job done in a pickle.
Boulder Adjustable Multisport Net
Picture this with me, if you will: You’ve got a vacay coming up. A trip to the inlaw’s house for ten days. Sounds fun, right? Granny and Grampy can watch the kids, and you and the wife can have a date night. What could be better? Yeah, but that was just the first day. What happens on day five when you haven’t slept great on the ancient, gues-bed mattress? The kids are bored with grandma’s Dala horse collection, and you’re sick of visiting local attractions.
What if I told you there was a way you could keep everyone happy and get in some cheeky pickleball practice at the same time, without having to buy a huge SUV to pack all the gear?
Well, my friend. There just happens to be a product out there that has saved me many a bored, painful hour at the inlaws and that product is the Boulder Badminton Pickleball Net.

Final Verdict
This is a blog all about pickleball from some of the most die-hard pickleball nerds I’ve ever met. So why on earth are we publishing and glowing rodomontade about what is marketed as a badminton net? The reason is that, just like ol’ Mick Jagger said, “you can’t always get what you want.” I would love it if my inlaws had a full-court pickleball set up in their backyard, replete with a top-of-the-line Franklin Portable net, freshly painted lines and a shade structure to rest under during changeovers. Heck, I’d love that in my own backyard. But even though we PhDs of pickleball think the whole world revolves around our paddles, it doesn’t and sometimes we need to make concessions to reality. My kids don’t always want to play pickleball, but I can almost always get them to play some kind of sport with a net and once the net is set up it’s just a matter of time before I can pull out my trust racket and start practicing my serves or my dinks.
A friend of mine has a smallish cement patio in his backyard, it’s not even close to being big enough for a full size portable net, but we can just fit my boulder net back there and practice dinking while we’re bbq’ing up some beyond burgers.
The Boulder Badminton Pickleball Net is a great option for those looking for a versatile, portable net for various sports. It is easy to set up and pack away, and the quality materials ensure it can be used both indoors and outdoors. However, some concerns about durability and the net sagging may be drawbacks for some users. Overall, this net offers a fun and convenient way to enjoy various sports with friends and family.
